Terms and Conditions of Credit Card/Debit Card/Spending Card Benefits:
  1. The handling fee waiver of Credit Card / Debit Card / Spending Card is only applicable to fees and charges incurred from 1 August 2011 to 31 July 2012 (“Promotion Period”). To redeem this offer, please call Dah Sing Bank Credit Card Hotline at 2828 4321.
  2. Repayment record will not be adjusted.
 
Terms and Conditions of Loan Service Benefits:
  1. Offer is only applicable to newly opened account. Please state with our staff at any branch of Dah Sing Bank upon application in order to enjoy the offer. Please refer to the respective promotional leaflet for details.
 
Terms and Conditions of Deposit Benefits:
  1. Offer is only applicable to customers who open a HKD or foreign currency Fixed Deposit Account (exclude Renminbi Fixed Deposit) at Dah Sing Bank with a minimum amount of HK$50,000 or equivalent and a maximum amount of HK$10,000,000 or equivalent, for a deposit tenor of at least one month, with new funds (New funds are defined as fund newly deposited at Dah Sing Bank, using a cheque drawn on other bank, inward CHATS or T/T during the Promotion Period and excluded fund transfer from the existing Dah Sing Bank account. In case of any disputes in relation to the definition of new fund, the decision of Dah Sing Bank shall be final.) and at the same time opening or holding a valid Dah Sing i-Account (with minimum balance of HK$100). The interest rate is subject to a maximum at the one-month Interbank Offer Rate of respective currency, whichever is lower. The above interest rate is for reference only.
  2. Dah Sing Bank reserves the right to amend the above interest rate at any time.
  3. During the Promotion period, each customer is entitled to enjoy the offer once only.
  4. The interest rate for subsequent renewals of fixed deposits will follow the prevailing interest rate offered by Dah Sing Bank.
  5. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Dah Sing Bank's promotional offer.
 
Terms and Conditions of Other Services Benefits:
  1. The handling fee waiver of the Gift Cheque / Gift Card is applicable to Dah Sing Bank Credit Card / Debit Card Cardholders only.
 
General Terms and Conditions of STAR Reward Program:
  1. For cardholders who spend or make cash advance with accumulative amount of HK$6,000 or above within a year with Dah Sing Bank Credit Card, Debit Card or Spending Card, Dah Sing Bank will automatically upgrade the STAR level, one STAR level up for each year and 5 STARS is the highest. And the STAR level will be shown on the statement of each month.
  2. All STAR Banking services are valid from 1 August 2011 to 31 July 2012 and the services must be used or completed within the period.
  3. Unless otherwise specified, offers are applicable to Principal Cardholders of Dah Sing Bank Credit Card (including Principal cardholders who are transferred from MEVAS Bank to Dah Sing Bank), Debit Card or Spending Card, but not applicable to Corporate Card, Business Card, Renminbi Credit Card, Purchasing Card, Cash Card, Dah Sing Gift Card, Private Label Card, Balance Transfer account and the RMB card account of Dah Sing “My Favorite Merchant” CUP Dual Currency Credit Card.
  4. STAR level is calculated as of the account opening date of the Cardholder's first Dah Sing Bank Credit Card or Debit Card. Terminated or invalid Credit Card accounts are not eligible.
  5. If Cardholder cancels all his / her Credit Card/Debit Card/Spending Card accounts, STAR level will be cancelled automatically, also if, Cardholders open new account, the STAR level will be calculated as of the new account open day. The STAR level record cannot be traced back nor counted after cancellation of accounts.
  6. Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other Dah Sing Bank’s promotional offers.
  7. Dah Sing Bank reserves the right to cancel the promotional program or amend the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  8. Should any dispute arise, the decision and records of Dah Sing Bank shall be final. In the event of discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
