Terms and Conditions for Online Application Welcome Gift: |
- Promotion Period is valid from now to December 31, 2013 ("Promotion Period"). Welcome Gifts are only applicable to brand new cardholders (i.e. did not hold/cancel any Principal or Supplementary Credit Card issued by Dah Sing Bank in the past 12 months) who successfully applied for Dah Sing PayPass Titanium MasterCard within the Promotion Period. Each new Principal Cardholder can have only ONE Welcome Gift regardless of the number of Principal Card applied. The gift cannot be exchanged for cash, other discount or transferred.
- For Principal Cardholder who chooses "HK$300 Cash Rebate", he/she will be entitled to the Welcome Gift upon accumulated retail spending or cash advance of HK$3,500 or above and being posted to the relevant credit card account within the first 2 months from card-issuance.
- For principal cardholder who chooses "Up to HK$60,000 Free Interest and Service Charge Cash-In Plan" who successfully applies the Plan can enjoy up to HK$60,000 and 15-month Free Interest and Service Charge Cash-In Plan without any spending requirement. The Cash-In amount is subject to the final approved credit limit of Dah Sing Bank Credit Card account. The Cash-In amount is up to 90% of credit limit (the minimum amount required is HK$3,000 while the maximum is HK$60,000). The Bank has the absolute discretionary right to determine the final Cash-In amount of the cardholder and is not obliged to provide reasons. A confirmation letter will be mailed to the Principal cardholder within 1 month whilst his/her credit card has been approved. Cardholder may contact Dah Sing Bank Customer Service Hotline 2828 8002 to accept the Cash-In offer or by completing the confirmation letter and return to the bank with required documents by mail / fax within 60 days since card issuance. Upon receipt of all necessary documents, the Bank requires 3 to 7 working days to process the request and disburse the fund to the cardholder's designated personal Hong Kong dollar currency bank account (the "Relevant Bank Account"). The receiving bank may deduct the handling fee from the Relevant Bank Account. The Bank is not liable for the mentioned handling fee or any interest or other expense caused by this. The cardholder has to arrange with receiving bank for the expense or interest (if applicable) directly. The Bank will debit the Credit Card Account (the "Relevant Account") with the approved Cash-In amount by 15 consecutive monthly installments, commencing from such date as the Bank may prescribe at its discretion. The Bank will debit an amount equivalent to the Cash-In amount from the credit limit of the Relevant Account until the last installment has been debited. The Bank will proportionally increase the deducted credit limit every month after the Bank has successfully debited the Relevant Account with the Cash-In amount due. The monthly repayment amount will be debited from the Relevant Account. The repayment amount per installment is calculated by dividing the total installment amount by the number of tenor. Should there be any decimal place in the monthly repayment amount, it will be rounded up to the nearest dollar. No financial charge will be charged provided that the cardholder makes full payment of the credit card statement balance on or before the payment due date. For cardholder who makes partial payment of the credit card statement balance, cardholder shall pay a finance charge on any monthly installment amount due but unpaid at the prevailing interest rate of the Relevant Account. For the prevailing retail purchases finance charge and its related annualized percentage rate ("APR"), please browse the Bank's website. On default of payment of any monies due under the Relevant Account or in case of breach of any provisions of the applicable terms and conditions governing the use of Dah Sing Credit Card Cardholder Agreement ("Agreement") or any of these terms and conditions by cardholder or in case of cancellation or termination of the Relevant Account or the Plan for whatever reasons, all outstanding installments or balance or monies owing under these terms and conditions shall be immediately due and payable by cardholder and shall at the absolute discretion of the Bank, be debited against the Relevant Account and a Cash-In plan cancellation fee of HK$300 will be charged by the Bank, therefore, the Agreement shall apply to all the said installments or balance. The Bank has the right to accept or reject any application without providing any reason. The Plan is not applicable for "Credit Card Bonus Point Scheme", "Instant Cash Reward" / "Cash Rebate", "Mileage Program", and any other Bonus Point or Cash Rebate Reward Program. Even if these terms and conditions have to be stipulated by other articles, the Bank has the right to inform the cardholder to suspend or terminate the Plan. Applicant also agrees to abide by and accept all the terms and conditions which the Bank may revise at any time.
- The valid accumulated spending for welcome gift include retail purchase, cash advance, "Happy Installment" installment amount, Cash-in Plan installment amount, Branch Cash-in installment amount, autopay, recurring billing transactions, balance transfer amount posted, Stocks Investment Savings Plan, "Payeasy" bill payment amount, "Jet Payment" payment amount, interest-free monthly installment amount, gift redemption fee (if applicable), cheque payment (if applicable), Octopus Automatic Add Value Service amount. But excluding the following transactions, including but not limited to bank handling fee (including but not limited to annual fee, financial charge, late fee and cash advance handling fee etc), casino transactions, unposted / cancelled / refunded and all unauthorized transactions. Retail purchase and cash advance of Supplementary Card will be combined to the Principal Card account. The Bank reserves the final decision for determining the eligibility of the transaction to be included in the welcome gift.
- The Bank will determine the eligibility of Cardholder for entitlement of cash rebate based on the Cardholders' transaction records held with the Bank.
- Cardholders are required to keep all relevant original sales slips. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to request Cardholders to submit the relevant original sales slips for inspection. All sales slips submitted to the Bank will not be returned.
- Welcome gift of "HK$300 Cash Rebate" will be credited to the eligible Principal Cardholder within one month upon fulfilling the spending requirement. The relevant Credit Card account must be valid and in good standing status at the time of cash rebate credit.
- Cash rebate will be credited into the Principal Cardholder's Credit Card account in form of credit card free spending credit. Credit card free spending credit will be used for payment of new transaction items, it is not transferable, refundable or cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Welcome Gift choice cannot be changed once confirmed.
- If Principal Cardholder cancels his/her new Credit Card within 13 months from card-issuance date, the Bank reserves the right to debit a handling fee of HK$300 to the relevant Principal Card account without prior notice.
- The Bank reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or cancel the offer at any time without prior notice.
- All matters and disputes will be subject to the final decision of the Bank.
- In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

- Credit Card Bonus Point Scheme ("Bonus Point Scheme"): A) Every HK$1 you spent with your "Dah Sing PayPass Titanium MasterCard" will earn you 1 bonus point. For transactions made with the Card on your birthday, Cardholders can earn an extra point for every HK$1 spent. (i.e. 2 bonus points for every HK$1). The valid transactions for "Bonus Point Scheme" include retail purchase and Octopus AAVS amount only, but excluding the following transactions, including but not limited to cash advance, "Happy Installment" amount, "Cash-in Plan" amount, balance transfer amount, "Payeasy" bill payment, tax payment, interest-free installment amount, bank handling fees (including annual fee, financial charges, late fee and cash advance handling fee etc), casino transaction, unposted / cancelled / transactions eventually returned and all unauthorized transactions. B) The Bank will determine the eligibility of Cardholder for entitlement of bonus points based on the Cardholders' transaction records held with the Bank.. C) Cardholders are required to keep all relevant original sales slips. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to request Cardholders to submit the relevant original sales slips for inspection. All sales slips submitted to the Bank will not be returned.
- The Bank reserves the final rights to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. All matters and disputes will be subjected to the final decision of the Bank.
- In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

APR* for Retail Purchase: 33.22% when you open your account and it will be reviewed from time to time. The Bank will not charge you finance charges if you pay your balance in full by the due date each month.
