1. Welcome offer is only applicable to new (i.e. not holding Dah Sing Mileage Plus MasterCard Principal Card in the past 12 months) principal applicant who successfully applies for Dah Sing Mileage Plus MasterCard on or before 31 December 2008 and fulfills the spending requirement. Each principal applicant can only apply for one Dah Sing Mileage Plus MasterCard and is entitled to the welcome offer once.
   To enjoy the 4,500 Enrollment Bonus Miles or Travel Trolley, the Principal Cardholder of Dah Sing Mileage Plus Platinum MasterCard needs to accumulate a retail spending and/or cash advance of HK$2,000 or more within the first 2 months of card issuance.
2. The accumulated spending amount includes retail spending amount, cash advance amount, "Jetso" Installment amount, "Cash-in Plan", balance transfer amount, bill payment, tax payment, interest-free installment, Autotoll Top-up Amount, Octopus AAVS Amount, excludes bank handling fees (annual fees, financial charges, late fees and cash advance handling fee), casino transactions, unposted / cancelled / refunded and all unauthorized transactions. The retail spending / cash advance of Supplementary Cardholder will be combined with the Principal Cardholder’s account.
3. Welcome Gift is on a first-come-first-served basis while stocks lasts. In the event that a gift item is out of stock, Dah Sing Bank reserves the right to substitute the welcome gift with another offer. Dah Sign Bank is not the supplier of the gift and is not responsible for any of the gift or service. Dah Sing Bank reserves the final right to amend these terms & conditions or terminate the promotion at any time without prior notice.
4. If Principal Cardholder cancels his/her new Dah Sing Mileage Plus MasterCard within 13 months from card-issuance, Dah Sing Bank reserves the right to debit a handling fee of HK$300 to the relevant Principal Card Account without prior notice.

Terms and Conditions of Enrollment Bonus Miles for Dah Sing Mileage Plus MasterCard:

1. This offer is valid from now to 31 December 2008 (the “promotion period”)
2. Principal Cardholders who successfully applied for Dah Sing Mileage Plus Platinum MasterCard and accumulated a retail spending and/or cash advance of HK$2,000 or more within the first 2 months of card issuance, is entitled to 4,500 Enrollment Bonus Miles.
3. Upon spending requirement is fulfilled, a notification letter will be sent out. The Enrollment Bonus Miles will be credited to the Cardholder's Mileage Plus Account within 6-8 weeks and the Cardholder’s account must be valid and in good standing at the time of issuing the notification letter.

1. Cardholders who spend every HK$8 on the retail transactions will earn 8 bonus points which will be automatically converted to 1 mile. To be eligible for auto-conversion, Principal Cardholder must also be Mileage Plus member. The bonus points will be auto-converted to miles on the statement date every month. Retail Transactions on the Principal Card and Supplementary Card will be calculated and converted to miles separately. The miles thus earned will be credited to the Principal Cardholder's Mileage Plus Account. Retail transactions amount will be calculated up to the last integer and any amount beyond the decimal point will not be accumulated for conversion to mile.
2. Dah Sing Bank (the “Bank”) will credit the awarded miles to the Mileage Plus Account according to the Mileage Plus Account Number provided by the Cardholders. If the pertinent miles fail to be credited due to an incorrect Mileage Plus Account Number provided by the Cardholders, the Bank will not be held liable and will not re-issue the pertinent miles.
3. If Cardholder is unable to provide their Mileage Plus Account Number at the time of Card application, the Bank and United Airlines will arrange for a new Mileage Plus account to be opened and to be used for miles conversion
4. If United Airlines finds that the Cardholder is an existing Mileage Plus member, the Bank shall have the right to credit the miles to the existing Mileage Plus account without further notice.
5. United, its subsidiaries, affiliates and agents are not responsible for any products and services of other participating companies and partners.
6. Please allow 6 - 8 weeks after completed qualifying activity for bonus miles to be posted to your Mileage Plus account.
7. Miles accrued and awards issued are subject to the rules of the United Mileage Plus Program. The Mileage Plus Program, including accruals, awards and bonus miles offers, is subject to change without notice. Taxes and fees related to award travel are the responsibility of the passenger.
