Terms and Conditions
  1. The promotion period ("Promotion Period") is from 24 January 2014 to 28 February 2014, both dates inclusive, based on transaction date. Transaction date is based on the computer record of Dah Sing Bank (the "Bank").
  2. The Promotion only applies to customers who received the promotional eDM or SMS issued by the Bank (“Selected Cardholder”). Unless otherwise specified, the promotion is applicable to all Principal Card and Supplementary Card of Dah Sing Credit Card (including the Bank's UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card) and Co-brand card (including the credit card transferred from MEVAS Bank) ("Eligible Card") except Debit Card, Cash Card, Corporate Card, Purchasing Card, Spending Card, Business Card, Gift Card, Private Label Card, "Happy Family" Octopus AAVS account, Cash Conversion Account and Balance Transfer Account.
  3. Each Selected Cardholder who has any eligible spending in local restaurants (refer to clause 4) with his/her Eligible Credit Card within the Promotion Period is entitled to extra cash rebate. Spending with VISA Infinite Card/Platinum Card/Titanium MasterCard is entitled to 5% extra cash rebate while spending with other cards is entitled to 2% extra cash rebate. Any decimal place for cash rebate amount will be rounded up to the nearest integer. Spending from Supplementary Credit Cardholder will be calculated towards the Principal Credit Cardholder's Eligible Spending. Each Selected Cardholder is entitled to up to HK$200 extra cash rebate in total combining all of his/her Eligible Credit Card (including Principal and Supplementary card) spending.
  4. Eligible Transactions include retail transactions in local restaurants. Ineligible transactions include but not limited to overseas dining transactions (including transactions in mainland China and Macau), hotel parties, private parties, banquets, dining outlets in supermarkets/department stores/club houses, transactions with merchant codes defined as non-dining categories by the bank or any card organizations, unposted / cancelled / refunded and any unauthorized transactions. The Bank reserves the final decision for determining the eligibility of each transaction.
  5. The extra cash rebate will be credited into each Selected Cardholder's Dah Sing Credit Card account in April 2014 and will be shown on statements of May 2014. If Cardholder spends with his/her different credit cards, extra cash rebate will be credited to the credit card account with the latest issue date according to the Bank's record. All extra cash rebate cannot be exchanged or transferred to other account or exchanged to cash or any other gifts.
  6. Each Cardholder is required to keep the relevant original sales slips. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to require the Cardholder to submit the original sales slips and all relevant documents for verification purpose. The Bank will not return all the submitted relevant documents.
  7. The relevant Dah Sing Credit Card should maintain as valid and in good credit standing during the entire Promotion Period and while crediting rebate. The relevant transactions must be posted. Otherwise, the Bank will forfeit the extra cash rebate from the relevant accounts without prior notice.
  8. In the event that any registered valid transactions are cancelled or reversed after Cardholders have received the Cash Rebate of the Promotion, the Bank will debit the whole amount of the relevant Cash Rebate against Cardholders' credit card accounts immediately without prior notice.
  9. The Bank reserves the right to terminate this promotional program or amend the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
  10. In case of disputes, the Bank's decision shall be final and conclusive.
  11. The terms and conditions contained herein shall form part of the Agreement governing the use of Dah Sing Credit Card and shall be construed accordingly. In case of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the Agreement, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  12. In the event of discrepancies between the Chinese version and English version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
