General Terms and Conditions: |
- Each Cardholder is required to keep the relevant original sales slip. In case of any disputes, Dah Sing Bank, Limited ("the Bank") reserves the right to require the Cardholder to submit the original sales slip and all relevant documents for verification purpose. The Bank will not return all the submitted relevant documents.
- The Bank reserves the right to terminate this promotional program or amend the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
- In case of disputes, the Bank's decision shall be final and conclusive.
- The terms and conditions contained herein shall form part of the Agreement governing the use of Dah Sing Credit Card and shall be construed accordingly. In case of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the Agreement, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
- In the event of discrepancies between the Chinese version and English version of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.

e-Statement Lucky Draw 2014 Terms and Conditions: |
- The whole promotion period is divided into 3 Phases, including the period from 1st July 2014 to 31st August 2014 (1st Phase), the period from 1st September 2014 to 31st October 2014 (2nd Phase), and the period from 1st November 2014 to 31st December 2014 (3rd Phase) ("Promotion Period"), both dates inclusive, based on transaction date. Transaction date is based on the computer record of the Bank.
- The Promotion is applicable to all Principal Card of Dah Sing Credit Card and Co-brand card (including the credit card transferred from MEVAS Bank) ("Eligible Card") except Supplementary Card, RMB Credit Card account of CUP Dual Currency Credit Card, Debit Card, Cash Card, Corporate Card, Purchasing Card, Spending Card, Business Card, Gift Card, Private Label Card, "Happy Family" Octopus AAVS account, Cash Conversion Account and Balance Transfer Account. The promotion only applies to customers who hold Eligible Card ("Eligible Customer").
- To enjoy the Promotion, Eligible Customer has to fulfill the following requirements in any of the Phases within the Promotion Period:
(I) Reward (1): Lucky Draw - Cash Rebate on Mobile Device
- After suppressing statement by mail for the first time via Dah Sing e-Banking Service ("Eligible Registration (1)") in any of the Phases, Eligible Customer can earn 1 lucky draw chance in that Phase. However, Eligible Registration (1) is not applicable to customers who have suppressed statement by mail via Dah Sing e-Banking Service before the Promotion Period.
- In the same Phase that Eligible Customer completed Eligible Registration (1), registering Dah Sing e-Banking Service for the first time ("Eligible Registration (2)") confers the Eligible Customer 5 lucky draw chances (i.e. 5 lucky draw chances in total, including the lucky draw chance grants from Eligible Registration (1)). However, Eligible Registration (2) is not applicable to customers who have registered Dah Sing e-Banking Service before the Promotion Period.
(II) Reward (2): Lucky Draw Chances Bringing forward to the Remaining Phase(s)
- If Eligible Customer has completed Eligible Registration (1) or Eligible Registration (2), and he / she does not resume receiving statement by mail or cancelling Dah Sing e-Banking Service via whatever means within the Promotion Period, the 1 lucky draw chance or the 5 lucky draw chances can be brought forward to remaining Phase(s).
- Eligible Customer cannot repeat Eligible Registration (1) or Eligible Registration (2) in order to be entitled to extra lucky draw chances. Each Eligible Customer can only win the prize once only, and the winner of a Phase will not be able to enter the lucky draw in the remaining Phases.
- The Bank will carry out the Lucky Draw by computer in October 2014, December 2014 and February 2015 and a winner of 1st Phase, 2nd Phase and 3rd Phase will be chosen respectively. The result of the Lucky Draw will be announced in late-October 2014, late-December 2014 and late-February 2015 on our website. The winner of each Phase will be notified individually by mailing the "e-Statement Lucky Draw 2014 – Result Confirmation" letter ("Letter") within 4 weeks after the lucky draw dates. If the correspondence address based on the Bank's record is invalid or incorrect, the Bank will not bear any responsibility and there will be no reissuance of the abovementioned letter.
- In order to enjoy the Cash Rebate, the Winner has to follow the instructions and the Terms and Conditions stated on the Letter, and purchase a mobile device of any brand at designated electronic appliances merchant using Dah Sing Credit Card within a designated period ("Transaction"). The winner has to present the relevant Credit Card, customer copy of sales slip, receipt of the purchased mobile device and other relevant documents to the designated Redemption House for Prize Registration ("Prize Registration") within the designated period. For details of Prize Registration, please refer to the "e-Statement Lucky Draw 2014 – Result Confirmation" letter.
- The amount of Cash Rebate is based on the amount shown on the sales slip and the Bank's computer record (capped at HK$6,000). The Cash Rebate will be credited to the relevant credit card account within 2 months after the completion of Prize Registration (For example, if Transaction amount is HK$5,000, the winner can be entitled to HK$5,000 Cash Rebate. If Transaction amount is HK$6,500, the winner can only be entitled to HK$6,000 Cash Rebate). Cash Rebate is not applicable to the unbilled/ cancelled/ rejected or all the unauthorized transactions.
- The relevant Eligible Card should be maintained as valid and in good credit standing during the entire Promotion Period, Prize Registration and while crediting rebate. The relevant transactions must be posted, and/or the winner does not ever make a registration to resume receiving credit card paper statement via whatever means during the entire Promotion Period, Prize Registration and while crediting rebate (if applicable). Otherwise, the Bank will forfeit the rebate from the relevant accounts without prior notice. Cash Rebate is not transferrable, redeemable for cash or other premium. It is only applicable to settling the new purchase, but not counted as part of repayment or disbursed in cash.
- Irrespective of the forms of the transactions, available spending amount is subjected to the Eligible Card account status and corresponding available credit limit upon the transaction time. Meanwhile, the accumulated transaction amount and the outstanding balance (including the principal, interest, handling fee or other applicable amount, which ever the payment is due or not) should not be greater than the assigned credit limit of the Eligible Card.

- This Promotion is not applicable to the staff of Dah Sing Financial Group and its subsidiary companies.

Rewards on Spending Terms and Conditions: |
- The spending period ("Spending Period") and redemption period ("Redemption Period") are from 15 July 2014 to 31 August 2014, both dates inclusive, based on transaction date. Transaction date is based on the computer record of the Bank.
- The Promotion only applies to customers holding Principal Card and Supplementary Card (each an "Eligible Cardholder") of Dah Sing Credit Card (including the Bank's UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card) and Co-brand card (including the credit card transferred from MEVAS Bank) ("Eligible Card") except Debit Card, Cash Card, Corporate Card, Purchasing Card, Spending Card, Business Card, Gift Card, Private Label Card, "Happy Family" Octopus AAVS account and Balance Transfer Account ("Non-eligible Cardholder").
- Each Eligible Cardholder can redeem each product with HK$1 at all 759 Store (the "Merchant") during the Redemption Period with his/her Principal and Supplementary Card (must be Eligible Card). Each Eligible Cardholder can redeem maximum 5 products each day and 15 products in the whole Redemption Period. If an Eligible Cardholder redeems more than 15 products during the Redemption Period, the Bank reserves the right to debit the administrative fee of HK$19 starting from the 16th products from the relevant account in or before October 2014 without prior notice.
- Each Eligible Cardholder needs to use the same Eligible Card to make Eligible Spending (definition refers to clause 7 below) of HK$1,200 or above during the Spending Period for redemption of each product (the required spending amount will be calculated based on the number of redeemed products, for example: Each Eligible Cardholder is required to spend HK$2,400 (HK$1,200 x 2) or above if he/she has redeemed 2 products). Eligible Cardholders are required to redeem the products for HK$1 each with the same Eligible Card at the Merchant in person.
- Eligible Spending with the Bank's UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card RMB account will be converted to Hong Kong Dollars based on the conversion rate of 1:1.2 of total spending amount and combined with the Hong Kong Dollar account.
- Cardholder can make redemption before spending. Spending from Supplementary Credit Cardholder will be calculated separately from the Principal Credit Cardholder's Eligible Spending.
- Eligible Spending includes local and overseas retail transactions made with the Eligible Card. Ineligible Spending includes but not limited to cash advance, Autopay, recurring billing transactions (e.g. Octopus Automatic Add Value Service, Autotoll Automatic Top-up Service etc), Happy Installment, Cash-In Plan, Branch Cash-In Plan, Securities transaction, Balance Transfer Amount, Settle Bills Online via eBanking PayEasy Service, Tax payment, JET payment amount, Monthly repayment of Interest-free Installment Plan, Gift redemption fee (if applicable), Cheque payment (if applicable), Bank fees and service charges (including but not limited to annual fee, financial charge, late fees and cash advance handling fee), casino transactions, unposted / cancelled / refunded and any unauthorized transactions. The Bank reserves the final decision of the Eligible Spending definition.
- If an Ineligible Cardholder redeems product or an Eligible Cardholder cannot meet the spending requirement during the Spending Period, the Bank reserves the right to debit the administrative fee of HK$19 per product from the relevant account in or before October 2014 without prior notice.
- Products are available while stock lasts and are only applicable in 759 stores which sell the relevant products. It is not applicable to 759 Kawaiiland, 759 Store Household Market and 759 Store Frozen Market. Quantity of the products will be subject to the availability at relevant stores.
- Where an Eligible Cardholder is unable to settle the payment with the Eligible Card because of card damage, faulty magnetic strip or chip or for whatever reasons, the eligibility for this promotion will be forfeited. The Bank and the Merchant will not accept any other credit cards or other payment methods for the redemption of gifts for HK$1.
- No request for exchange, return or cash refund for any redeemed product for HK$1 will be accepted. All photos are for reference only.
- The Bank is not the supplier of the abovementioned products. Any enquiry, comment or complaint about the quality of relevant products or service should be directed to the Merchant. The Bank shall not be responsible for any matter in relation to relevant product or service.
- The Bank reserves the right to offer any alternative products and replacement if the relevant product is not available or there is any issue arisen without prior notice. Quoted prices and types of those products may not be the same as the products provided in this promotion.
- Offers shall be terminated immediately upon cessation of the Merchant's business.
- The relevant Dah Sing Credit Card should maintain as valid and in good credit standing during the entire Spending Period and Redemption Period and the relevant transactions must be posted. Otherwise, the Bank reserves the right to debit the administrative fee of HK$19 per product from the relevant accounts without prior notice.
