General Terms and Conditions:
  1. Unless otherwise specified birthday offers are valid between 1 January and 31 December 2017 (both days inclusive) ("Promotion Period").
  2. Unless otherwise specified offers apply to customers holding Principal or Supplementary Card of Dah Sing Bank, Limited (the "Bank") or Co-brand card ("Eligible Card") ("Eligible Cardholder") except Cash Card, Corporate Card, Purchasing Card, Spending Card, Business Card, Gift Card, Private Label Card, "Happy Family" Octopus AAVS account and Balance Transfer Account ("Non-eligible Cardholder").
  3. Eligible Cardholder will be required to present identify card for verification purpose prior to enjoying the birthday offers.
  4. Eligible Cardholder must show and settle the full payment with an Eligible Card in order to enjoy the offer.
  5. The Bank is not the supplier of any products, food or services. The Bank shall not be responsible for any matter in relation to relevant products, food or services. Any enquiry, comment or complaint about the quality of relevant products, food or services should be directed to the relevant merchant.
  6. Offers are limited and available on a first-come first-served basis.
  7. Offers cannot be exchanged for cash, other products, food, services or discounts. Offers are not transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers, discounts, discount cards, VIP cards, cash vouchers and gift vouchers. Offer does not apply to delivery service. All photos and prices of product/food/service are for reference only.
  8. Offer shall be terminated immediately upon cessation of the Participating Merchant's business.
  9. The Bank and the Participating Merchants reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions or cancel or amend the offers at any time without prior notice.
  10. Should any disputes arise, the decision of the Bank and the Participating Merchant shall be final.
  11. The Terms and Conditions contained herein shall form part of the Agreement governing the use of the Dah Sing Credit Cards ("Cards") and shall be construed accordingly. In case of any conflict between the Terms and Conditions and the Agreement, the Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  12. In the event of any discrepancy between the Chinese version and English version of the Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
 
Terms and Conditions for "Hotel Panorama by Rhombus - AVA Restaurant Slash Bar":
  1. Hotel Panorama by Rhombus – AVA Restaurant Slash Bar Offer ("Offer1") applies to customers holding Principal or Supplementary Card of VISA Card of the Bank or Co-brand card ("Eligible Cardholder").
  2. Eligible Cardholder can enjoy Offer1 during his/her birth month between 1 January and 30 September 2017 except 29 January, 14 February, 14 May, 18 June, 1 October, 24-25 December, 31 Dec 2017.
  3. Order of Offer1's birthday cake must be placed at least three days in advance and upon making table reservation.
  4. Offer1 is only valid for patronage of up to 8 guests.
  5. A 10% service charge will be applied based on the original price.
 
Terms and Conditions for "Hotel Panorama by Rhombus - Café Express":
  1. Hotel Panorama by Rhombus – Café Express Offer ("Offer2") applies to customers holding Principal or Supplementary Card of VISA Card of the Bank or Co-brand card ("Eligible Card") ("Eligible Cardholder").
  2. Eligible Cardholder can enjoy Offer2 during his/her birth month between 1 January and 30 September 2017 except 29 January, 14 February, 14 May, 18 June, 1 October, 24-25 December, 31 Dec 2017.
  3. Order of Offer2's birthday cake must be placed at least three days in advance and upon making table reservation.
  4. Offer2 is only valid for patronage of up to 8 guests.
  5. A 10% service charge will be applied based on the original price.
 
Terms and Conditions for "Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel - Café Renaissance":
  1. Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel - Café Renaissance Offer ("Offer3") applies to customers holding Principal or Supplementary Card of Mastercard Card of the Bank or Co-brand card ("Eligible Card") ("Eligible Cardholder").
  2. Eligible Cardholder can enjoy Offer3 during his/her birth month within the Promotion Period, except on New Year Day, Chinese New Year's Eve, 1st and 2nd day of Chinese New Year, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and private/company bookings for more than 36 persons.
  3. Order of Offer3's birthday cake must be placed at least two days in advance and upon making table reservation.
 
Terms and Conditions for "Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel - Dynasty":
  1. Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel - Dynasty Offer ("Offer4") applies to customers holding Principal or Supplementary Card of Mastercard Card of the Bank or Co-brand card ("Eligible Card") ("Eligible Cardholder").
  2. Order of Offer4's birthday cake must be placed at least two days in advance and upon making table reservation.
 
Terms and Conditions for "Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel – Mirage Bar & Restaurant":
  1. Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel - Mirage Bar & Restaurant Offer ("Offer5") applies to customers holding Principal or Supplementary Card of Mastercard Card of the Bank or Co-brand card ("Eligible Card") ("Eligible Cardholder").
  2. Order of Offer5's birthday cake must be placed at least two days in advance and upon making table reservation.
 
Terms and Conditions for "Royal Plaza Hotel – La Scala":
  1. Eligible Cardholder can enjoy Royal Plaza Hotel – La Scala Offer ("Offer6") during his/her birth month within the Promotion Period except December 15 - 31, 2017.
  2. Order of Offer6's birthday cake must be placed at least three days in advance and upon making table reservation.
  3. The complimentary birthday cake is available for dine-in or takeaway.
  4. Offer6 is only valid for patronage of at least 4 adults and a maximum of 12 persons.
  5. Offer6 is not applicable to 10% service charge, set menus, private functions, wedding banquets and purchase of cigarettes, cigars, beverages or coupons and vouchers.
  6. Offer6 is applicable to regular-priced food items and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers and privileges.
 
Terms and Conditions for "Bioscreen":
  1. Bioscreen Birthday Offer ("Offer7") applies to female Hong Kong permanent residents aged 18 or above holding Principal or Supplementary Card of the Bank or Co-brand card ("Eligible Card") and as a new customer to Bioscreen Medical Beauty ("Eligible Cardholder").
  2. Eligible Cardholder can enjoy Offer7 during her birth month or the next month within the Promotion Period once only.
  3. Eligible Cardholder shall make phone reservation in advance.
  4. Treatment and gift are limited in quota and are subject to availability. The Bank/Participating Merchant reserves the right to offer any alternative treatment or services and replacement without prior notice. Quoted prices and types of those treatment or services may not be the same.
 
Terms and Conditions for "Dah Sing Bank 1.5% p.a. preferential fixed deposit p.a. rate":
  1. Dah Sing Bank Fixed Deposit Offer ("Offer 8") applies to new-to-deposit customers (Eligible Cardholder).
  2. New-to-deposit customers are defined as customers who did not maintain any Savings, Checking, Fixed Deposit and/or Call Deposit Account (including sole- and joint-named accounts) with the Bank 1 month prior to the account opening date.
  3. To enjoy Offer8, eligible Cardholder must visit branch in person to set up 3 month HKD/ USD fixed deposit with at least HKS100,000 or equivalent new fund (capped at HK$500,000 or equivalent) and open YOU i-Account at the same time.
  4. New Funds refers to funds newly deposited with the Bank in cash, by using a cheque drawn on any other bank, inward CHATS or Telegraphic Transfer but excluding funds transfer from an existing account maintained with the Bank. In case of any disputes in relation to the definition of new funds, the decision of the Bank shall be final.
  5. The preferential rate (p.a.) applicable to customers may vary due to the market conditions at the time, and will be subject to the prevailing interest rate (p.a.) quoted by the Bank at the time when the relevant fixed deposit is set up with the Bank. For details, please check with our staff. Upon maturity of the USD fixed deposit, if it is converted by customer from the USD into the HKD, a gain or loss in the deposit amount may result due to fluctuations in the exchange rate at the time.
  6. Each Eligible Cardholder can enjoy Offer8 ONCE only.
  7. Offer8 is not applicable to fixed deposit opened and placed through e-Banking / Phone Banking / Mobile Banking service.

Terms and Conditions for "Dah Sing Insurance":
  1. Dah Sing Credit Card Birthday 50% Discount Offer ("Offer9") applies to customers holding Principal or Supplementary Card ("Eligible Cardholder") of the Bank and Co-brand card ("Eligible Card"). Customers holding UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card are not eligible.
  2. Eligible Cardholder with an Eligible Card shall also be a Dah Sing Insurance Club Member ("DSI Club member") of Dah Sing Insurance Company (1976) Limited ("Dah Sing Insurance"); including existing or will enroll as DSI Club Member ("Eligible Member"). To register as the DSI Club Member, please visit www.dahsinginsurance.com. Personal information is required when enrolling as DSI Club Member.
  3. Eligible Cardholder who successfully enrolls the JourneySure Travel Insurance Plan ("JourneySure"), HomeSure Household Insurance Plan ("HomeSure"), MaidSure Domestic Helper Insurance Plan ("MaidSure"), or Golfers Insurance Plan via Dah Sing Insurance website and settle the online payment of premium with his/her Eligible Card ("Eligible Transaction") within the Promotion Period would be entitled to the Offer9. Enrollment is based on the transaction date in the computer record of the Bank. Offer9 cannot be used in conjunction with other promotion offers.
  4. Offer9 is not applicable to renewal of any insurance plan.
  5. Eligible Cardholder will pay the premium (Eligible Transaction9) with DSI Membership discount first. The difference between Dah Sing Credit Cardholder Birthday 50% Discount and DSI Club Member Discount (Premium Cash Rebate, "Premium Cash Rebate") for JourneySure / HomeSure / MaidSure and Golfers Insurance Plan will be credited to Eligible Cardholder's Eligible Card Account. Premium Cash Rebate will be calculated as shown below:

  6. Premium Cash Rebate will be credited to the relevant Eligible Cardholder's Eligible Card account within 8 – 12 weeks after successful enrolment and will be shown on the statement of the next month. Any decimal place for the Premium Cash Rebate amount will be rounded up to the nearest integer.
  7. Premium Cash Rebate is not applicable to ineligible spending, including unposted/cancelled/refunded and any unauthorized transactions. The Bank and Dah Sing Insurance reserve the final decision for determining the eligibility of each transaction. Premium Cash Rebate will be used for offsetting new transaction amount. Premium Cash Rebate cannot be exchanged or transferred to other account or exchanged to cash or any other gifts.
  8. In the event that the Eligible Transaction for premium are cancelled or reversed after Eligible Cardholders have received the Premium Cash Rebate, the Bank will debit the Premium Cash Rebate from the Eligible Cardholder's Eligible Card account without prior notice.
  9. The relevant Eligible Card account should maintain as valid and in good credit standing during the entire Promotion Period and at the time when the Premium Cash Rebate is credited. The relevant Eligible Transactions must be posted. Otherwise, the Bank will forfeit the Premium Cash Rebate without prior notice.
  10. All insurance products are subject to Dah Sing Insurance's terms and conditions. All insurance products/services are provided and sold to customers by Dah Sing Insurance. Dah Sing Insurance is responsible for the quality and availability of the product/service. The Bank makes no representation or guarantee as to the quality in respect of product/service supplied under this program.   11. JourneySure / HomeSure/ MaidSure and Golfers Insurance Plan are underwritten by Dah Sing Insurance. The Bank is an authorized insurance agent of Dah Sing Insurance. Dah Sing Insurance reserves the right to grant the final approval of the enrollment of insurance plans.
