Appointment of Chip Card / Magnetic Strip Card Services Provider:

To further enhance our service quality and efficiency, we are pleased to announce that we have appointed Goldpac Datacard Solutions Company Limited ("Goldpac") as our new chip card / magnetic strip card embossing and personalization services provider. Goldpac, located in the Mainland China, is one of the worldwide leading providers of secured card solutions, card issuance system and card personalization service since 1993. We believe this new service partnership will enhance our ability to provide quality services to our customers.

It is always the policy of Dah Sing Bank to fully comply with the data protection principles and relevant provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) during the disclosure or transfer of any personal data. Goldpac will also apply stringent controls to safeguard the confidentiality and security of your data during the chip card / magnetic strip card embossing and personalization process. Your personal data may also be disclosed or provided to any person to whom Dah Sing Bank or Goldpac is under an obligation to make disclosure under any applicable laws or regulations, or under and for the purposes of any guidelines issued by competent regulator(s) or other authorities (including but not limited to government departments, judiciary or tax authority(ies)).

Interest Rates and Finance Charges
APR* for Retail Purchase: 33.22% when you open your account and it will be reviewed from time to time. The Bank will not charge you finance charges if you pay your balance in full by the due date each month. Otherwise, finance charges will be charged (i) on the unpaid balance from the date of the previous statement on a daily basis until payment in full and (ii) the amount of all new transactions from date of the respective transaction dates of the new transactions.
APR* for Cash Advance: 36.43% when you open your account and it will be reviewed from time to time. Finance charges will be charged on the amount of cash advance from the date of the transaction on a daily basis until payment in full.
Delinquent APR: 40.77% (Retail Purchase) & 44.90% (Cash Advance) if there are 2 or more delinquent records in your account in the past 12 consecutive months, the above finance charges rate will be assessed.
Interest Free Repayment Period: Up to 60 days
Minimum payment: Total amount of bank service fees and finance charges plus 1% of total outstanding balance of transactions or minimum HK$50 (whichever is higher).
Fees
Annual fee: HK$550 for Titanium Card (HK$275 for each supplementary Card) and HK$1,500 for Platinum Card (HK$750 for each supplementary Card)
Cash Advance Handling Fee: 3.5% of transaction amount or minimum of HK$100 (whichever is higher)
Transaction Fee for Foreign Currency Transaction: 1.95% on the transaction amount in foreign currency made outside of Hong Kong or in Hong Kong
Transaction Fee for Cross-border Transaction: 0.80% on the transaction amount in Hong Kong currency made outside of Hong Kong or at any merchants not registered in Hong Kong
Late Payment Fee: HK$250 or an amount equivalent to the minimum payment stated on the monthly statement (whichever is lower)
Over-the-limit Fee: HK$180 each time (Each card account will be charged maximum once per statement cycle)
Note: *APR = Annualised Percentage Rate. According to the guideline of the Code of Banking Practice, APR is calculated based on the Net Present Value method.
 
General Terms and Conditions:
  1. " Money Back" Scheme:
    "Money Back" is applicable to Principal Card Cardholders and Supplementary Card Cardholders of Dah Sing ONE+ Platinum Card & Dah Sing ONE+ Titanium Card issued by Dah Sing Bank ("the Bank"). "Money Back" earned for each Principal Card & Supplementary Card will be calculated and credited to the credit card accounts respectively.
    "Money Back" is calculated based on 1% of the sum of retail purchases, cash advance and Octopus AAVS amount in each statement cycle. If the rebate amount is with decimal place, the total rebate amount will be rounded up to nearest dollar. "Money Back" is only applicable to the transaction amount of retail purchases, cash advance and Octopus AAVS amount; but excluding the following transactions, including but not limited to autopay, "Happy Installment" installment amount, Cash-in Plan amount, Branch Cash-in, balance transfer amount, Stocks Investment Savings Plan, "Payeasy" bill payment amount, "Jet Payment" payment amount, tax payment, interest-free monthly installment amount, cheque payment (if applicable), bank handling fee (including but not limited to annual fee, financial charge, late fee and cash advance handling fee etc), casino transactions, unposted / cancelled / refunded and all unauthorized transactions. The "Money Back" offer shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the Cardholder Agreement. The Bank reserves the final decision on the applicability of the "Money Back".
    "Money Back" earned by Cardholders will be credited into cardholders’ relevant credit card account. If customers cancel or charge off relevant transactions after posting "Money Back", the Bank reserves the right to debit the amount equivalent to the value of "Money Back" given to customers from the credit card account without prior notice.
    "Money Back" earned in each statement cycle will be credited to credit card accounts in next statement cycle. "Money Back" that posted into credit card account is only applicable for settling new purchases, and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
    The Bank will determine the eligibility of Cardholder for entitlement of "Money Back" based on the Cardholders' transaction records held with the Bank.
    Cardholders are required to keep all relevant original sales slips. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to request Cardholders to submit the relevant original sales slips for inspection. All sales slips submitted to the Bank will not be returned.
  2. Dah Sing ONE+ Credit Card Mobile App ("Mobile App")
    Mobile App is compatible with IOS 6 - 7 and Android 4.0 – 4.3. Dah Sing ONE+ Credit Card Cardholder can download and install the Mobile App at Apple App Store (for iPhone) or Google Play Store (for Android phone).
    To enjoy ONE+ offers listed out in the Mobile App, cardholders must settle payment with Dah Sing ONE+ Credit Card.
    The offers listed out from the Mobile App are subject to related terms and conditions. For details, please refer to the mobile app.
  1. The introductory annual rate is only applicable to the cardholder who successfully applied for Dah Sing ONE+ credit card on or before December 31, 2014. According to the guideline of the Code of Banking Practice, the Annualized Percentage Rate ("APR") is calculated based on the Net Present Value method. The APR of the introductory annual rate 9.8% applicable to the retail purchase in the first 6 months’ statement is 10.06%. Afterwards, the financial charge for retail purchase will be calculated at the standard rate 30% (APR: 33.22%). If there are 2 or more delinquent records in the past 12 consecutive months, the financial charge for retail purchase will be assessed at Annual Rate 36% (APR: 40.77%), and the introductory rate offer would be cancelled. Meanwhile, the standard rate 30% would be resumed until the repayment records resume to normal.
  2. There will be HK$20 charge for credit card physical statement while no charge for credit card e-Statement service starting from 1 January, 2015. For the credit card e-Statement service details, terms and conditions, please visit www.dahsing.com/card/estatement.
  3. The Bank reserves the final rights to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. All matters and disputes will be subjected to the final decision of the Bank.
  4. In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
Terms and Conditions for Application Welcome Gift:
  1. Promotion Period is valid from now to 31 July, 2014 ("Promotion Period"). Welcome Gifts are only applicable to brand new cardholders (i.e. did not hold / cancel any Principal or Supplementary Credit Card issued by Dah Sing Bank, Limited ("The Bank") in the past 12 months) who successfully applied for Dah Sing ONE+ Credit Card within the Promotion Period ("Eligible Cardholder"). Each new Principal Eligible Cardholder can have only ONE Welcome Gift regardless of the number of Principal Card applied. The gift cannot be exchanged for cash, other discount or transferred.
  2. For Dah Sing ONE+ Credit Card Principal Eligible Cardholder, he/she will be entitled to the Welcome Gift, "6 UA Cinemas Movie Tickets" or "HK$300 Cash Rebate" upon accumulated retail spending or cash advance of HK$3,500 or above within the first 2 months from card-issuance.
  3. The valid accumulated spending for welcome gift include retail purchase, cash advance, "Happy Installment" installment amount, Cash-in Plan installment amount, Branch Cash-in installment amount, autopay, recurring billing transactions, balance transfer amount posted, Stocks Investment Savings Plan, "Payeasy" bill payment amount, "Jet Payment" payment amount, interest-free monthly installment amount, gift redemption fee (if applicable), cheque payment (if applicable), Octopus Automatic Add Value Service amount. But excluding the following transactions, including but not limited to bank handling fee (including but not limited to annual fee, financial charge, late fee and cash advance handling fee etc), casino transactions, unposted / cancelled / refunded and all unauthorized transactions. Retail purchase and cash advance of Supplementary Card will be combined to the Principal Card account. The Bank reserves the final decision for determining the eligibility of the transaction to be included in the welcome gift.
  4. The Bank will determine the eligibility of Eligible Cardholder for entitlement of cash rebate based on the Eligible Cardholders' transaction records held with the Bank.
  5. Gift choice cannot be changed once confirmed.
  6. Welcome Gifts listed above are on a first-come-first-serve basis while stocks last. In the event that the gift item is out of stock, the Bank reserves the right to substitute the welcome gift with another offer without prior notice.
  7. Eligible Cardholders are required to keep all relevant original sales slips. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to request Eligible Cardholders to submit the relevant original sales slips for inspection. All sales slips submitted to the Bank will not be returned.
  8. If Principal Eligible Cardholder cancels his / her new Credit Card within 13 months from card-issuance date, the Bank reserves the right to debit a handling fee of HK$300 to the relevant Principal Card account without prior notice.
  9. The Bank reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or cancel the offer at any time without prior notice.
  10. All matters and disputes will be subject to the final decision of the Bank.
  11. In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
For Eligible Cardholders who has chosen welcome gift "6 UA Cinemas Movie Tickets" :
  1. For Welcome gift of "6 UA Cinemas Movie Tickets", a notification letter with redemption details will be sent to Eligible Cardholder upon fulfilling the spending requirement. Cardholder has to download "personalized" ONE+ mCoupon in Cardholder’s ONE+ account in ONE+ mobile app according the instruction on notification letter. Cardholder has to present the designated mCoupon by 30 November 2014 at designated redemption centre for gift redemption. The relevant Credit Card account must be valid and in good standing status at the time of sending out the mCoupon. Terms and conditions apply for redemption and UA ticket. For details, please refer to the terms and conditions listed on mCoupon.
  2. Eligible Cardholder must download ONE+ mobile app and register ONE+ account between the period of credit card approved and spending requirement fulfilled so as to receive the "personalized" ONE+ mCoupon. If Eligible Cardholder did not download ONE+ mobile app and register ONE+ account when spending requirement fulfilled, mCoupon cannot be sent out to Eligible Cardholder.
For Eligible Cardholders who have chosen welcome gift "HK$300 Cash Rebate" :
  1. Welcome gift of "HK$300 Cash Rebate" will be credited to the eligible Principal Cardholder within 1 month upon fulfilling the spending requirement. The relevant Credit Card account must be valid and in good standing status at the time of cash rebate credit.
  2. Cash rebate will be credited into the Principal Eligible Cardholder's Credit Card account in form of credit card free spending credit. Credit card free spending credit will be used for payment of new transaction items, it is not transferable, refundable or cannot be exchanged for cash.
