Terms and Conditions for General Insurance Offer for VIP Banking Customers:
  1. The promotion period is from now till 31 December 2014 (both dates inclusive).
  2. TravelSure Travel Insurance Plan (“TravelSure”), HomeSure Household Insurance Plan (“HomeSure”), and MaidSure Domestic Helper Insurance Plan (“MaidSure”) are underwritten by Dah Sing Insurance Company (1976) Limited (“Dah Sing Insurance”). Dah Sing Bank, Limited (the “Bank”) is an authorized distributor of Dah Sing Insurance.
  3. Dah Sing Insurance reserves the right of the final approval of the insurance application. For details of the scope of coverage, exact terms and conditions, free additional covers and exclusions of the TravelSure, HomeSure and MaidSure, please refer to the policy documents.
  4. The offer is not applicable to customers who are currently holding or have cancelled any annual travel insurance plan for the same insured person, any home contents insurance plan for the same insured property or any domestic helper insurance plan underwritten by Dah Sing Insurance within the past 3 months.
  5. If the customers cancel any one or more of the insurance policies issued under this General Insurance Offer for VIP Banking Customers (“the Offer”), the customers shall then pay the original regular premiums of all the remaining insurance policies to Dah Sing Insurance. The customers shall pay the difference (“the Difference”) between the original regular premiums and the discounted premiums under the Offer. Any refund of policy premiums under the cancelled policy will only be made after the customers have paid the Difference to Dah Sing Insurance and also in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the policy documents.
  6. Dah Sing Insurance and the Bank reserve the right to terminate and amend the offer and the relevant terms and conditions of the offer without prior notice. If there are any disputes, the decision of Dah Sing Insurance and the Bank shall be final and conclusive.
  7. Apart from MaidSure Domestic Helper Insurance Plan in the package where the policyholder can be a family member residing with the VIP Banking Customer (i.e. employer of the domestic helper), the VIP Banking Customer must be the policyholder of other insurance plans of the package to enjoy the combo price.
  8. In case of any discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
