IMPORTANT NOTICE: Fraudulent promotional activities by individuals pretending to be Dah Sing Bank, Limited staff


It has come to our attention that fraudsters pretending to be staff of Dah Sing Bank, Limited ("DSB" or "the Bank") have recently contacted customers and the public by phone or instant messaging apps (e.g. WhatsApp) requesting customers or the public to provide personal information or even make deposits into third party's accounts which were alleged to be used for application for DSB's products and services (e.g. personal loan, mortgage loan, MPF, investment products, etc.).

We hereby confirm and advise that the abovementioned unauthorised and fraudulent promotional activities have no connection with DSB and any of its subsidiaries. Customers and the public are reminded not to provide any personal information and / or make any payment to third party in response to such suspicious promotional activities.

Customers and the public are reminded not to disclose any sensitive personal information and / or make any payment in response to any suspicious calls and / or request for payments without verification of the caller's or message sender's identity. Should customers or the public have any doubt regarding the identity of the caller or message sender claiming to be from the Bank, please obtain the caller's or message sender's name, staff number, department / branch name and business contact number, and immediately contact DSB at 2828 8000 during office hours (Mon–Fri 9:00am - 10:00pm; Sat 9:00am - 5:30pm or for non-office hours, please call 2828 8159 to verify the identity of the caller / sender. For suspicious scam call or message related to MPF, you may also email relevant information to mpf_scam_call@dahsing.com (Not for general enquiry, only for suspicious scam call or message related issue.)

If you have fallen prey to a scam, please immediately report to any local Police Station or reach Anti-Deception Coordination Centre of the Police Force by dialing the 24-hour "Anti-Scam Helpline 18222".
